As the school year comes to an end, three staff members are being honored by the District for their work to serve students.

The School District of Lee County is again partnering with Florida’s Summer BreakSpot program to keep children healthy and well-nourished while school is out.

The School District of Lee County recognized and honored the dedicated service and commitment of school district employees who have reached significant milestones in their careers.

The Dunbar High School Technology Academy is adding to its award-winning honors with four students recently honored by the National Center for Women and Information Technology (NCWIT).

The School District of Lee County is excited to announce it has received a $12 million, 5-year competitive grant award from the U.S. Department of Education’s Magnet Schools Assistance Program. This grant will support innovative magnet programs at Bonita Springs Elementary, Edgewood Academy, and Hector A. Cafferata, Jr. Elementary to attract families and enrich school choice offerings.

Zeke Dube-Garrett from Cypress Lake High School and Sophia Dupeyron from Cape Coral High School were awarded 1-year scholarships provided by State Farm and the Florida Prepaid College Foundation.
